As people of faith, we are called to love one another as Christ loved us. One way we live this out is by doing all we can to keep each other safe and healthy during this time. Therefore, we ask that you please review the following guidelines before attending an in-person event at Bashford UMC:
If you are experiencing COVID symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, stay home and do not attend in-person activities. Where possible, we will make an effort to include you in our online ministry opportunities.
If, after worshiping with us or participating in one of our in-person ministries, you begin to experience symptoms and/or test positive for COVID-19, contact Pastor Doug by phone at (608) 249-9222 or email pastorbashfordumc@gmail.com.
Cancellations due to weather and/or COVID-19 are determined by our leadership team. Be sure to keep an eye on Facebook, the ENews, our website, and the announcements for information about these changes.
Our church leadership continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation for our area (including statistics for Dane County) and, in consultation with guidelines put forth by the WI Council of Churches, are working to create space where people of all ages and abilities are made to feel safe and affirmed.
Whenever updated guidance is available, we will make appropriate changes, while always prioritizing safety and our Christian value of “love your neighbor”.
